About the Event
The Veritex Bank Championship is Arlington’s ONLY Tour stop! While our event officially got its start in 2020, we did not get to host our first tournament until 2021 as a result of COVID-19. After the inaugural tournament, the Veritex Bank Championship was awarded the 2021 ‘TRUCK’ award at the Korn Ferry Tour season-ending meetings. The award is given to a tournament that works hard, puts on a great event, adjusts on the fly, and most importantly – has fun doing so! Format: 72-hole, stroke play Field Size: 156 player field, cut to 65 and ties after 36-holes Purse: $750,000
