Taylor Force Memorial
“Force For Good” Scholarship

This is a scholarship that will be awarded to a veteran transitioning out of the military who is looking to further their career goals by attending an institution of higher education, completing a trade school/course, or obtaining professional certification. The scholarship will be awarded in memory of Taylor Force, an Army Veteran who was tragically killed in 2016. All scholarships have been given for 2023. Please check back for future scholarships in 2024.

“Taylor was such a positive, friendly, uplifting force in the world. This scholarship is important to the Force family because it feels like an opportunity to keep sharing Taylor's goodwill and warmth with the world.”

- Kristen Force Boswell, Vice President of events for Hero Hut and sister to Force.

Honoring Taylor

Taylor Force was tragically killed in 2016 during a school-sponsored trip from Vanderbilt University, where graduate students were sent to learn about startup companies overseas. Force attended high school at the New Mexico Military Institute, graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2009, and served five years as an active-duty officer from 2009 to 2014. He was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and deployed to Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraq to support Operation New Dawn.
